The Southwest Journal was a newspaper in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota, USA covering local news, sports, business, politics and community events.
The Southwest Journal provided local news coverage for 20 neighborhoods in Southwest Minneapolis. The free newspaper had been family-owned and operated in Minneapolis since 1990, when it was founded by Janis Hall and Terry Gahan in their Linden Hills home. Their company, Minnesota Premier Publications, also publishes Minnesota Parent magazine and Minnesota Good Age magazine. The Journal stopped publishing in December 2020.
