APG Media of the Rockies LLC, a subsidiary of Minnesota-based Adams Publishing Group, bought the Tribune-Eagle in October, 2016 as part of its acquisition of the McCraken Newspaper Group owned by L. Michael McCraken. The deal also included the Laramie Boomerang, Rock Springs Rocket Miner and Rawlins Times.
