Discovery Health Channel was discontinued on January 1, 2011. It was replaced by Oprah Winfrey's OWN TV, at the time a joint venture between Winfrey and Discovery Health's owner, Discovery Communications, Inc. Most of Discovery Health's programming was moved to sister channel FitTV and some was moved to OWN TV.
The Discovery Health Channel provided information on health and body issues, new scientific discoveries and technology innovations related to the world of health.
This television channel was owned by Warner Bros. Discovery, Inc.
