Al Jazeera Mubasher Misr

Al Jazeera Mubasher Misr is a TV station in Cairo, Egypt about local politics and government.

Launched in 2011 and shut down by the Egyptian army in 2013, Al Jazeera Mubasher Misr (Al Jazeera Live Egypt) was a live politics and news channel focused on Egypt. It was modelled on Al Jazeera Mubasher (Al Jazeera Live), the first channel launched by the Al Jazeera Media Network, and was similar to C-SPAN in the US, or the United Kingdom's BBC Parliament.

The Egyptian government shut down Al Jazeera Mubasher Misr after the army removed Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi and seized power in July 2013, claiming that it was pro-Morsi.

This TV station is owned by The Emir of Qatar.

The website is presented in the Arabic language.
