PTS Taigi is a public television channel in Taiwan operated by Public Television Service (PTS). Programs on PTS Taigi air in the Taiwanese language (Taiwanese Hokkien), as opposed to the widely spoken Taiwanese Mandarin which is akin to the Mandarin Chinese commonly spoken on mainland China.
The channel was originally launchd in 2004 as Dimo TV -- the name is a contraction of "digital mobile" -- which targeted out-of-home viewers using smartphones or in-vehicle TV systems. The name was changed to PTS2 in 2012 and then to PTS Taigi on July 1, 2019.
This TV station is owned by Taiwan Broadcasting System.
