Atlanta Progressive News (APN) was launched on November 23, 2005, as Atlanta's source of progressive news and information. APN defines progressive news as "news that brings us closer to universal health care, living wages, affordable housing, peace, a healthy environment, and voting systems we can trust." While APN had three print issues in 2006 and 2007, APN is currently available only as an online news service.
