Lillie Suburban Newspapers published eight papers in the St. Paul suburbs and was founded in 1937. The St. Paul Pioneer Press reported that the company lost $921,000 in 2018. The East Side Review ceased publication in September 2019 along with the rest of the Lillie Suburban Newspapers.
