The Somerset Messenger-Gazette was a newspaper in Somerset, New Jersey, USA covering local news, sports, business, politics and community events.
The Somerset Messenger-Gazette traced its roots to 1827, when the Somerset Messenger was launched in Somerville. The Unionist-Gazette followed in 1882, with The Somerset Democrat launching in 1888. These three newspapers merged in 1930 to form The Messenger-Gazette. The newspaper eventually became known as the Somerset Reporter & Messenger-Gazette. The name was shortened to Somerset Messenger-Gazette in February 2010.
In Early 2015, the Somerset Messenger-Gazette stopped publishing.
This newspaper was owned by Advance Local Media LLC.
