The Light of New Mexico Newspaper Goes Dark
-- Santa Fe, New Mexico newspaper The Light of New Mexico has suspended publication, both in print and online. Below is the announcement on the newspaper website from August 2, 2012:
"The Light of New Mexico is not currently operational, in print or online, after a transaction to sell the paper apparently will not come to fruition. For news about sustainability and green lifestyles, please...
I just read the listing for The Light of New Mexico, for which, as editor, I had submitted information. Thank you again for including us! However, please do not describe us as "covering local environment business news." The descriptive paragraph below that is accurate, but if you need a tagline you can use our logo descriptor: "Illuminating Inconvenient Truths." or you could say, "covering political and social justice issues."
The environmental tag is fine for our sister paper, Green Fire Times. We like to keep their identities separate.
