KVUE TV 24 is the ABC network affiliate station in Austin, Texas. It describes itself as "Austin's leading local news."

KVUE began broadcasting in 1971. In 1978, the broadcasting division of the Detroit News newspaper bought KVUE from Center Broadcasting. Gannett Company bought the station in 1986 as part of its purchase of the Detroit News. Gannett traded KVUE to Belo Corporation in 1999 in exchange for KXTV TV in Sacramento, California. KVUE again became part of Gannett after Belo was sold to Gannett in 2013.

Gannett split into separate newspaper publishing and TV broadcasting businesses in 2015, and the TV business was named Tegna.
