The Pacific Citizen is a newspaper in Los Angeles, California, USA covering ethnic society and culture.

The Pacific Citizen newspaper is the official publication of the Japanese American Citizens League (JACL). It is a national newspaper published semi-monthly.

The paper began publishing in September 1929 as Nikkei Shimin ("Japanese American Citizen"). The title was officially changed to Pacific Citizen in 1931. The newspaper relocated from San Francisco to Salt Lake City during World War Two. The Citizen moved back to the West Coast, this time to Los Angeles, in the 1950s.

This newspaper is owned by Japanese American Citizens League.
