KNBC TV 4 is a TV station in Los Angeles, California, USA airing NBC network programs, local news and weather.
The station is an affiliate of the NBC Television Network.
Originally launched in 1949 as KNBH TV, KNBC TV Channel 4 is the west coast flagship station of the NBC television network and airs the full schedule of NBC network programs.
KNBC is one of two NBC Universal-owned television stations in Los Angeles, the other being Telemundo affiliate KVEA TV 52. The two stations share studios on Lankershim Boulevard in Universal City, located in the San Fernando Valley. The facility is named the Brokaw News Center for Tom Brokaw, a former KNBC news reporter/anchor and the anchor of the NBC Nightly News from 1982 to 2004.
