United in Southern California was a newspaper created from the March 2014 merger of the Orange County Excelsior and La Prensa Riverside. It was a Spanish-language newspaper published by the Orange County Register, which at the time was owned by Freedom Communications.
After MediaNews Group bought Freedom Communications in 2016, it restored both Excelsior and La Prensa as Spanish-language newspapers in southern California.
