The Vail Daily is a daily newspaper in Vail, Colorado, USA covering local news, sports, business, politics and community events.

The newspaper is published seven days a week.

The Vail Daily is a free newspaper covering local news in the Eagle Valley, sometimes called the Vail Valley, of Eagle County, Colorado. The paper focuses on the town of Vail which sits below Vail Mountain Resort, one of the largest winter resorts in North America. It reports on local news, sports, community events, mountain conditions, lifestyles as well as arts and entertainment.

Jim Pavelich started the Vail Daily on June 15, 1981. He owned the newspaper until Swift Newspapers, later Swift Communications, purchased it on October 1, 1993.

The paper is part of a newspaper group called Colorado Mountain News Media, a division of Swift Communications. In December 2021, Ogden Newspapers of West Virginia acquired the newspapers of Swift Communications and chose to keep using the Swift company name for them. The company controlling the non-newspaper assets of Swift was then renamed Questor Corporation.
