Knewz was a USA website covering National News.
Knewz was a digital news headline service that was shut down by News Corporation on July 9, 2021. Launched on January 29, 2020, it claimed to offer "balanced news from a wide range of sources." It presented a regularly updated menu of news headlines with links to the full stories and was designed to compete with similar news aggregation services such as Google News and Drudge Report. It was available on desktop, mobile and mobile app.
News Corporation said it created Knewz to counter fake news and clickbait and to direct more money to content creators by bypassing intermediaries like Google and Facebook. The service used the unfortunate tag line "If you don't Knewz, you don't know." It also leaned heavily on media outlets owned by News Corporation such as the U.S. version of The Sun and the New York Post along with other tabloids featuring lurid headlines.
This website was owned by News Corporation.

A service designed to displace other news aggregators such as Google News and Drudge Report, Knewz stuggled in part...
