C-SPAN

C-SPAN is a USA television channel covering National News.

Launched on March 19, 1979, C-SPAN (the Cable Satellite Public Affairs Network) is an American cable television network featuring live coverage of the U.S. House of Representatives. The network also presents Washington Journal live each morning. C-SPAN is a private, non-profit company created in 1979 by the cable television industry as a public service. It receives no funding from any government. All programs are unedited, uncensored and commercial free and with few voice over announcements.

It is one of the best American media outlets, according to Mondo Times members.

This television channel is owned by National Cable Satellite Corporation.
