Embedded magazine, formerly Embedded Systems Design, is a digital resource for engineers, programmers and project leaders who build microcontroller and embedded microprocessor-based systems.

It was owned by United Business Media (UBM) until August 1, 2016, when UBM sold it and the rest of its electronics portfolio to AspenCore, a unit of Arrow Electronics.

-- August 23, 2010 -- Ron Wilson is now editor in chief at Embedded Systems Design. He replaces Richard Nass, who recently left the publication. Wilson was previously a semiconductors editor for EE Times.
