American Scholar is a USA magazine covering Books and Literature.

Founded in 1932, The American Scholar is a quarterly magazine of public affairs, literature, science, history, and culture. It is published by the Phi Beta Kappa Society, which describes itself as "America's most prestigious academic honor society." The publication has won a number of National Magazine Awards, the industry's highest honor, and many of its essays and articles have been selected for the yearly Best American anthologies.
