Pew Research Center is a USA website covering Media Business.

The Pew Research Center's Journalism & Media program focuses on the state of news and information in a changing society, including how news is consumed, who is reporting it and how technology is shaping the information landscape. The program was formerly known as the Project for Excellence in Journalism (PEJ) and the Journalism Research program.

For its first nine years, the Project was affiliated with the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. On July 1, 2006, the Project separated from Columbia University and joined the Pew Research Center in Washington, D.C., which is funded by The Pew Charitable Trusts. Among many other projects, the program publishes the State of the News Media, an annual report on American journalism, and the Daily Briefing, a digest of media news.
