Launched in 2008, Bleacher Report focuses on America's favorite sports teams and topics. With an editorial team of thousands of contributors, it covers hundreds of teams, athletes and events each day and offers real-time coverage of breaking news as well as the opinions of sports writers.
The company has syndication relationships with many leading publishers including Hearst, The Tribune Company, Gannett, Fox and CBS. Bleacher Report also owns and operates a group of sports newsletters.
On August 6, 2012, the Turner Sports unit of Time Warner acquired Bleacher Report. It was owned by Time Warner until June 2018, when the company was sold to AT&T Corporation, which renamed the business WarnerMedia. On April 8, 2022, Discovery merged with WarnerMedia to form a new business called Warner Bros. Discovery.
