MoveOn is a non-profit progressive public policy organization. It was created in response to the impeachment of President Bill Clinton. MoveOn is known for assisting the Democratic Party to power in the 2006 elections, opposing the war in Iraq, reinstating lower limits on arsenic and mercury pollutions and campaign finance reform. It has raised millions of dollars for many Democratic party candidates.
