I subscribe to the Sunday edition only to receive the circulars and coupon books (when you can get them). Otherwise, I think the Tampa Times is full of Obama-loving, left wing nut writers who want readers to feel sorry for people who make a career of collecting government funds. I digress. Last Sunday (3/18/12), I reported part of my paper missing because I noticed the coupon books weren't included. I also subscribe to the Tribune, which included Red Plum and Smart Source coupon books. A man phoned me shortly after and said that it's possible the coupon books weren't included because of our region, and if that was the case, there wouldn't be a re-delivery. There was no re-delivery. So the following Sunday, the Tribune had Red Plum and Smart Source books again, and, lo and behold, the Times did also. So, it appears that whoever called me fed me a line of crap. So because of someone's laziness, I missed out on a lot of coupons. Thanks. Here's the copy/paste BS answer I received: "Good Morning, We deliver coupon books at the direction of the sponsoring advertisers. If you were expecting certain coupons and did not receive them, it is because the advertisers chose not to deliver in your area this week. We apologize for any inconvenience." I don't buy it. The Tampa Times and its customer service SUCK!!
